Welcome to SNARL MAGAZINE, please take a comfortable seat and perhaps even acquire a cup of tea, there’s a lot to be done here and we’ve got a feeling you’ll want to see it all.

Snarl Magazine is a collection of all things aesthetical, from every range of the spectrum.  Artists of all forms and guises are brought together here in a regular comprehensive showcase, to enable a more insightful delve into the art and artists of today as well as being a networking site for many creative types.

Here at Snarl we have been intrepid invigilators sorting through many offers of poetry, prose, flash fiction, postcard fiction, painting, illustration, film, photography and anything creative our dreams could have envisioned. The art we have put on display is the work we found invigorating and inspired, we hope you will agree.  If you ever have any comments please feel free to let us know your thoughts, good or bad.

Please browse the artists and work below that we have for you this month.

Alec Cumming’s octopod locks rise up the stairs, pulling his face in their wake. He spots us and bounds over, all apologies. He is rather late; but time, more malleable for him than most, is forgotten as, seated before Snarl, he vibrates with an open energy - the only moment of worth is now. You can see that in his work; the movement of pigment on canvas, stark slashes, dark lines, broken ridges.
Discussing past experiences and work, eyes sloping up to the right, hands circling, he constantly breaks off on tangents - a song, a childhood memory - spiraling away, always on the move..............

Steven Meyer-Rassow was born in Munich (Germany) in 1980. Throughout his childhood he was privileged to be raised in Singapore, South Africa, Germany & the UK, which exposed him to a multitude of different cultures and naturally all the visual stimuli associated with relevant countries and continents. Even at a very young I recall being very receptive to visual communication, and have always viewed art & design as something that should be equally fun & exciting yet also rewarding in a professional sense.

Caroline Clifford is a web developer from East London. She has a range of interests which influence her work, from the more obvious comics and comedy to exploring boring places, taking photos of them and bike riding. She also likes sock suspenders and the internet. Almost everyday she is involved in drawing Local Girl's Day in pictures at www.dayinpictures.co.uk. It's a mixture of illustrated blogs and comic strips, in her own words 'sometimes it is great and sometimes it is boring, like my life really.' Caroline will be a regular contributer to SNARL.....well for as long as she wants to be.

Tim Maytom When he thought back to those three weeks in the summer of 2008, the time before his life had changed so suddenly and so completely, the thing that struck Nick most was how smoothly everything had come together.  The three of them, ready to explode forth from under Washington's grey blanket and out to colleges across the country.  Alan's cousin selling off his old van for cheap, perhaps due to the strange smell of bananas that couldn’t be removed......
